Energy Healing: 4 Techniques For Instant Results (Part II)

Energy Healing is an alternative path to healing that is growing exponentially in popularity. Still, the whole process can be intimidating to someone who has never tried this before. This article teaches you a simple technique based on Energy Healing that you can use at home to observe your own, unbiased results.

Fire Up What Burns You Up Every powerful negative that you ever had has been stored in your energy field in a magnetic format (very much like a hard drive in a computer). Congealed fear, guilt and anger are the basis of most illnesses. Over time, they begin to affect your physical body with all kinds of symptoms.

In my work as an Energy Healer, I noticed long ago that when people hold an object, they leave an energy trace on it. In this technique, we're using this phenomenon on purpose.

How you do it

 1. Think back on your life and look for events that have a strong negative emotion associated with it. We want to trigger these negative memories on purpose, so that their energy pattern will be fully activated. Start with more recent events and work your way backwards. This can take a while so take your time to make a FULL inventory.

 2. For each event, write down (on paper) what you remember happened and HOW IT MADE YOU FEEL. With this step, we want to transfer the negative energy patter out of your energy field and unto the paper.

 3. When you have a full list of events written down, burn the paper immediately (please do this safely!). By using heat, we are raising the vibrational frequency of this energy pattern until it is released back as neutral energy. This process is similar to turning an ice cube into steam by heating it up. Once the negative energy pattern is released, this bundle of neutral energy is now reusable for another purpose.

 4. Keep in mind that the goal of this technique is to bring RELIEF from past, painful memories that are still very much active within you. You won't feel like running a marathon after this, but at least you won't be carrying this heavy baggage any longer. The effects of this technique are PERVASIVE and will lighten up every aspect of your life. So keep your eyes open for signs of improvement, no matter how small!

Energy Healing: 4 Techniques for Instant Results (Part I)

Energy Healing is an alternative path to health and healing that is growing exponentially in popularity. Still, it can sound intimidating or scary to someone who has never tried this before. This article teaches you a simple technique based on Energy Healing that you can use at home to familiarize yourself with the process and observe your own, unbiased results.

Progressive Healing Affirmations affect not only your mind but your Energy Field as well. They are the simplest form of Energy Healing that you can learn to use.

Using affirmations is like doing physical therapy (PT) on your brain. Just like PT teaches a muscle to operate in a new, more functional way, affirmations show you brain what kind of thoughts you want it to generate and repeat.

Sick people do not think the same thoughts as healthy people. By having healthy thoughts, you direct your body towards that goal. You can also combine affirmations with a visualization of your healthy body. Visualization is a powerful technique used profusely by professional athletes to achieve peak physical performance. If your mind can see it, your body can achieve it!

If you have tried affirmations and were disappointed by the results...Don't worry! Progressive affirmations bridge the gap between a productive affirmation and its deficient cousin: the brainwashing lie.

Although it's ok to stretch a muscle while you are doing PT on it, you do not want to stretch it so much that the ligament snaps! The same is true for affirmations. You need to feel emotionally comfortable as you are saying them. Otherwise you are stretching your brain muscles too far!

There 4 steps to Progressive Healing Affirmations:
1. Find an affirmation of something you want your body to achieve or learn. Here are some suggestions:

 • "Being healthier every day"
 • "Healing a little more every day"
 • "Feeling more energetic every day"
 • "Getting closer to my ideal weight every day"

2. Find the level of affirmation that feels comfortable to you right now.
There are 4 levels.

 • Wouldn't it be nice to [...]
 • I am willing to [...]
 • I am ready to [...]
 • I am choosing to [...]

3. Repeat your affirmation at the level you have chosen in step 2) at least 20 times in a day (or as often as you remember to do it!), just like you would repeat the same muscular movement in PT.

4. When you feel emotionally comfortable, try the next level. If it feels comfortable and true, repeat that affirmation 20 times. If not, go back to repeating the previous level affirmation until you can strengthen that particular thought.

It may take several days before you feel comfortable moving to the next level. Or you might feel ready to do it all in one day. Don't rush it! The way you feel while you say the affirmation is your green light to move forward.

Are your children Empaths? Teach them how to manage their Emotional Intelligence

We are all born with the ability to sense emotions in others. It's is a basic survival skill for humans and animals. This ability usually subsides in childhood as we learn to focus more on verbal cues than emotional ones.

Empaths, on the other hand, have a heightened sensitivity to other people's emotions that keeps developing over time. As other kids stop picking up emotional signals, Empath children become totally overwhelmed by the sheer quantity of emotional information that they receive in social settings.

Since most parents do not know if they are Empaths, they don't recognize the signs in their kids. It also prevents them for effectively teaching their kids how to manage emotional overflow. For a more in depth discussion on resources for adult Empaths, you can read my articles on this topic here.

Emotional Intelligence is defined as "the ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups" (Salovey and Mayer, 1990). When you teach your children how to manage their Empath skills, you are developing their Emotional Intelligence.

There are three fundamental concepts that need to be addressed in order to effectively manage emotional information.

1. Empowerment: Do you control your Empath skills or do they control you (curse or blessing?)

2. Centeredness: Can you always hear your own internal self above all (raise above the chaos)

3. Flow: Does emotional information come in AND out freely (do you have an outlet?)

Is your child an Empath? Children have a different way of handling their Empath abilities. Their range of available response is smaller, so they typically pick very quiet (as a way to calm down the emotional chaos they feel) or acting out (as a way to be louder than the emotional noise).

Keep in mind that children learn how to manage their Empath abilities by watching you handle yours. If you're an Empath but don't know how to handle it, get help for yourself first!

These are behaviors I have observed in Empath children who don't know how to handle their abilities:

 • Gets unusually quiet (often seen as shyness) around crowds but is fine with the immediate family or smaller groups. Your child is trying to feel empowered and centered by withdrawing from the world.
 • Gets physically or verbally out of control around people but is mellow at home. Your child is trying to find an outlet to the overwhelming flow of incoming emotions.
 • Resists going to bed or wakes up often. Your child is trying to stay centered while surrounded by the emotional activity of adults.
 • Catches every illness available (cold, flu, ear infections, etc.). Your child is trying to feel empowered in shutting down unwanted emotional activity. Being sick is often the only way a child can use to withdraw from social situations.

Of course, this describes about 85% of children. I believe that most children do suffer from a mismanagement of their Empath skills. I also believe that more and more Empath children are born every day. So 85% is not a shocking number to me.

The bottom line is: can you help your child have a happier life by using Empath tools? If it does help, then you're on the right track!

Disclaimer: This checklist is not a diagnostic or treatment tool. I am not a doctor or a mental health professional. Some of the characteristics of Empaths can be diagnosed as ADD, agoraphobia or clinical depression. Contact your health care professional if you have any questions, need diagnostic or treatment for a mental health issue.

In order to help your child, you need tools that address each of the three concepts (empowerment, centeredness and flow). This is a technique I developed with my son.

Empath Anchoring Technique: When your child gets overwhelmed, she often just needs a point of reference to stay grounded. You can be that anchor.

1. Calm your own emotions. You can't be a positive anchor if you're upset or angry.

2. Tell her quietly "Look me in the eyes" (point to your eyes) and put your hand on her chest. Make sure you have eye contact for the next step! 3. Tell her "We're going to take 5 breaths together and count them". Let your child breathe however she wants. You're just accompanying her, counting out loud with each exhalation.

Breathing quiets down emotional noise, re-centers the mind and helps children feel empowered by having something they can do when they feel uncomfortable. Include Empath anchoring it in your night time routine!

Are you an Empath? Resources for Emotionally Sensitive People

Empaths have a natural ability to sense not only their own but also the emotions of others. This innate skill can be observed in babies. This ability usually subsides in childhood as we learn to focus more on verbal cues than emotional ones.

But for some people, the flow of emotional information just keeps coming. This can lead to powerful internal conflicts as they pick up incoherent verbal and emotional messages from people (such as when someone lies or suppresses anger). It can also quickly become overwhelming in social settings where the sheer quantity of emotional information can be too much to handle.

Emotional Intelligence is defined as "the ability, capacity, or skill to perceive, assess, and manage the emotions of one's self, of others, and of groups" (Salovey and Mayer, 1990). Developing your Emotional Intelligence means that you have tools and processes to manage this emotional data.

Are you an Empath?

 1. Do you feel anxious or nervous in a crowd (4+ people)?
 2. Does your mood vary seemingly at random (getting angry or sad for no apparent reason)
 3. Do you feel a change in your physical energy level when you're in a crowd (tired, wired)
 4. Do you have a hard time falling asleep before midnight or do you procrastinate going to bed?
 5. Do you have physical symptoms that related to hearing (ringing, popping, itching in the ear)?
 6. Do you feel emotionally uncomfortable when someone touches or is close to you?

Disclaimer: This checklist is not a diagnostic nor treatment tool. Some of the characteristics of Empaths can be diagnosed as ADD, agoraphobia or clinical depression. Contact your health care professional if you have any questions, need diagnostic or treatment for a mental health issue. Empath Resources

Fortunately, there are more and more online resources available for Empaths. Unfortunately, most of these resources suggest a process that is likely to make things worst for you! Any kind of "protective mental shield" is based on the assumption that emotional information is threatening. If you go down that path, you will have to "defend" yourself for the rest of your life. How exhausting does that sound?

My work is result-based: if it works, keep doing it! As an Empath, these are the 3 tools I find most effective to manage the flow of emotional information I receive constantly. Try them out and see for yourself which one works best for you.

 • Being Transparent:

When we feel threatened by our surroundings, we become physically tense and our our energy field (the magnetic field that wraps around our body) becomes dense and constricted.

When you notice this tension, imagine that your energy field is expanding, like a gas. The particles are getting more and more spaced out, making your energy field thinner and much bigger. As your energy field becomes looser, emotions go right through you, like a rock falling through water. Instead of being caught in your dense energy field, the emotions of others will simply flow through you.

 • Adjust the Volume:

Sometimes the noise from other people's emotions gets so loud that we can't hear ourselves think! We get confused, hesitant, frustrated. Close your eyes and imagine two volume dials in front of you that go from 0 to 10. One says "Me" and the other says "Everything else". Turn the "Me" dial to 10, and the "Everything else" dial to 0. Instantly, your mind will respond to this request and the chatter will calm down.

 • Progressive Affirmations:

Progressive affirmations can help you build up to where you want to be. Keep in mind that affirmations must ALWAYS feel good in order to be effective. So start at the "easiest" affirmation and say it for a few days. When you feel ready, move on to the next level for a few days until you can say the "top" affirmation while feeling good.

 1. "I am willing to master my Empath abilities"
 2. "I am ready to master my Empath abilities"
 3. "I am choosing to master my Empath abilities"

Keep in mind that practice makes perfect. Try doing it in your head before you throw yourself in a tough situation (such as the mall or a party).

Once you are comfortably managing your Empath skills, you are ready to move on and develop your Emotional Intelligence by productively using emotional data in your daily life.

Is business intuition coming out of the closet?

CEOs More Likely to Rely on Intuition Than Metrics When Making Business Decisions
Monday November 6, 8:30 am ET

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The results of the sixth annual 2006 PRWeek/Burson-Marsteller CEO Survey reveal that CEOs are more likely to rely on their intuition than on data-driven analyses and quantitative information when making business decisions.

Six in 10 (62 percent) of CEOs indicate that gut feelings are highly influential in guiding their business strategies, while only four in 10 cite internal metrics and financial information (44 percent) or competitor analyses (41 percent). When considering outcomes of their actions, customer reactions (79 percent), long-term financial performance (74 percent) and corporate reputation (73 percent) are CEOs' top priorities.

"Business decision-making is a multi-dimensional process that incorporates instinct, information and foresight," said Mark J. Penn, Worldwide President & CEO, B urson-Marsteller. "The intuition cited by these CEOs is likely fueled by research, sharpened by years of experience and industry know-how as well as a deep awareness of stakeholder attitudes and behaviors."

Complete survey results can be found in the November 6, 2006 issue of PRWeek.

What can Business Intuition do for you?

In "The America We Deserve" , Trump declares "I've built a multi-billion empire by using my intuition". During a recent national address to business women in Chicago, Oprah says "my business skills have come from being guided by my inner self - my intuition". And Gates admits that "sometimes, you have to rely in intuition".

These famous billionaires publicly recommend the use intuition in business. But what do they mean by that? Do they even mean the same thing? And, most importantly, how can you get in on this intuition thing?

In my career as a Professional Intuitive, I always receive different answers when I ask someone their definition of intuition. Some talk of a "gut feeling", where they experience a specific emotional trigger that is interpreted as "yes" or "no" for a particular business decision. Others have original ideas that didn't come from the rational foundation of the mind. That's how Einstein and Edison describe their creative process. There is also the psychic definition where someone acquires information about other people, places or future events that simply comes to them, without any further explanation of origin.

Even when I talk with other professionals in this field, their definitions differ. And rightly so. Intuition is experienced differently from person to person. As such, there is no need to categorize one type of experience as being better than another...as long as they achieve their ultimate purpose: financial success.

Trump and Oprah didn't start advocating intuition in business after taking a class and learning a definition for this concept. They built hard core experiential evidence that this works for them, in the form of net worth. This is the approach that I find most productive: business intuition as a result-based method.

We tend to be afraid or ashamed of what we don't understand. I can't tell you how many times I have introduced myself as a Professional Business Intuitive only to see raised eyebrows and quizzical looks. But I love working in Corporate America. The global market is putting more and more pressure on american businesses to adopt non-traditional business models where success is not determined by a set of pre-defined rules that you learn in your MBA.

So what can you get from Business Intuition? The most useful tool of all: Leverage.

If you think your accountant is tweaking the books, you don't need an Intuitive Assessment©: you need an auditor. But if your profits are plummeting and you have no idea why or you're about to partner with someone you don't know, then Business Intuition can provide leverage in a situation where you have none.

Business Intuition is not about to replace a good market research or a deep understanding of your field. But you know that there is more to it than that. Otherwise you'd be at the top already! Trump and Oprah's success did not come from sheer luck. Nor is it related to their super human IQ. And yet it is repeatable: they turn every project into a success. And they both admit that Intuition is their secret ingredient to sustainable success.

People who are interested in intuition tend to fall in two categories: they want to learn how to do it themselves or they are looking for a reliable Professional to do it for them. Intuition is no different than accounting: it takes time to learn. As such, most people end up doing a blend of the two approaches. They ask a consultant when they're in a jam while they develop their own skills with an Intuition Coach.

What ever you choose to do, opening the door to intuition in your company is the first step towards your very own Midas Touch!
