Is Energy Healing a solution to the American Health Care crisis?
I discovered Energy Healing while I was in my late 20's. I had been suffering from debilitating migraines since I was 5 years old. I had also tried everything to relieve the pain. But nothing lasted.
Then one day, as Faith would have it, I got a session with an acupuncturist who had just learned Energy Healing. We both knew that acupuncture wasn't helping me, so we decided to try something else. The first time I had a session, I was migraine-free for 2 months. I used to have migraines once or twice a week.
It changed my life.
I had been trying to have a baby for a year...But the body knows. There's no point in conceiving a child when you won't be able to enjoy being a mother because you are in excruciating pain. A month after I got that one Energy Healing session (and the migraines stopped), I was pregnant. A second miracle from a single session...
So what does that mean for us, as a society? How much money do you think people are currently spending on migraine drugs and fertility treatment? It cost me one session with an acupuncturist (so $80) to solve both of these problems.
Think about it: What if we ALL knew how to do this? What if that was the "first response" to any kind of physical illness? Think of all the time, energy and money it would free up in hospitals? So that surgeons can focus on people who do need stitches and surgery!
Energy Healing is not about getting rid of traditional medicine. On the contrary, they work beautifully hand in hand! If we could clear up emergency rooms with some Intuitive Energy Healing, then those who do need traditional medicine would get access to it so much more easily! The cost health care would go down as people recover faster from surgery, chronic pain is addressed without expensive drugs, cancer treatment finally takes a leap forward by using both modalities and we stop arguing over who's right and choose to just focus on what works.
Can you see it? I sure can...
That vision of a society where healing is easily accessible is what drove me to develop Energy Healing tools and my free healing center, the The Northwest Energy Healing Center .
I believe that health care should not be affordable or cheap.
It should be free.
Yes I can see it! Your vision is surprisingly like the vision I have been holding of a healing center for people who come to participate in wellness. But not wellness as in trying to beat back sickness but wellness where they know they seek wellness, reach for wellness, and participate in their own healing. And we have healers from a range of modalities who contribute to the well-being of the place and the patrons. Similar to Meir Schneider's School For Self Healing in San Francisco. (http://www.self-healing.org/ )
The one thing I hadn't worked out in my vision was the money aspect except that my feeling is patrons would share a portion of their dollars as a "wellness contribution" and not as the current "health" care system does which is charging a fee then hoping against and penalizing for sickness.
As I see it, those teachers or healers working in the clinic would contribute to the patrons who would then contribute back to the healing center based on what they have to share and/or feel they can contribute.

Hi Elise: I love this article and I have something to add. I too am a medical intuitive and I began to realize that much of what my clients are experiencing is also related to recent solar activity and high frequencies that we are receiving from the universe. This creates a build up energy charge in the body that causes our aches and pains, along with emotional outbursts. This excess energy needs to be balanced, and Energy Work is what is needed at this time of our evolution, to help us calibrate to the New Energy.
